We are a charity committed to brighten the lives of children living with Sickle Cell Disease and their families. Sickle Cell Disease suffers often find themselves in isolation and are subject to prejudice, stigma and social rejection. Children, in particular, are the most vulnerable as growing up in isolation can have unimaginable consequences on their future well-being. We decided to be the change in our community by beginning this initiative in 2016 and empower our children to live life to the fullest. To achieve this, we organise fun group activities and events to bring children together and uplift their moral standing in our local community of Glasgow.
