"My goal with "The Icon" was to create a political editorial where I could share my thoughts on socio-political issues within Canada and abroad. I've always liked writing, whether it be essays or background guides for Model UN. Writing about politics is one thing, understanding it is a whole different problem. In the ever-growing world of rampant misinformation, I wanted to create a platform to express my political opinions and share them with my friends. That's how this project came about.
