We aim to provide a one-stop shop for all things languages in the UK, facilitating links between all those interested in languages: learners, families, community groups, teachers, school leaders, academics, policymakers, subject associations. The site to be open and inclusive, a tool for everyone to use and contribute to, building a collective sense of ownership and partnership. Initially envisioned by the British Academy, the British Council, the Association of School & College Leaders, the Arts & Humanities Research Council and Universities UK, The Languages Gateway is the portal representing all those who have an interest in langauges in the UK from Arabic to Welsh, classical and signed languages, and everything in between.
