We offer community-building, implementation-focused virtual professional development for educators who are ready to move beyond balanced literacy and infuse evidence-based practices into their literacy block. This includes explicit and systematic phonics instruction, needs-based small group instruction, and text-dependent reading, writing, and discussion.
Our PD is different. We use a flipped model to focus on the actual implementation of high-impact literacy practices. With weekly on-your-own-learning, PLC meetings on Zoom, and office hours, we break down complex literacy routines into manageable steps to try each week. Teachers leave our sessions feeling energized, excited, and prepared to try a new strategy with students.
