The Mach Initiative is a non-profit organisation aiming to break the Guinness World Record for the Fastest Jet-Powered Model Aircraft.
Our 1.3m long Kingfisher aircraft will reach 570 mph under the power of its Jetcat P300 Pro micro-turbojet engine. We secured sponsorships from Siemens, Callen-Lenz and Safran, enabling us to fly a 60% scale 3D-printed prototype, proving the launch and handling of the Kingfisher's blended ogival delta wing. Following this, we recently completed the manufacture of the full-size Kingfisher and await a maiden flight and record attempt shortly.
