Burnout, depression, and suicide have sadly become hallmarks of the legal industry, particularly in eDiscovery where tight deadlines and technical complexity reign supreme.
The Mind-Budget Connection™ (“MBC”) is a group of legal professionals and researchers tackling a structural cause of this problem—contract structures that lead to a “do more with less” dynamic.
The MBC’s goal is to explore this mind-budget connection through quantitative and qualitative research and start a collaborative discussion that leads to change. Current plans include:

• A white paper with our survey findings, other research, and proposed solutions
• Present findings and proposed solutions at industry conferences for collaborative discussion
