TMCG is a boutique consulting firm that uses evidence-based/practice-based research and resource development, as well as inclusion, equity, and diversity methods as a fundamental way to help community activist, universities and organizations more strategically address community inequities and health disparities.
Our innovation lies in addressing the source of the problem, as well as the symptoms. Therefore, our four primary areas of focus (outlined in specialties) address root issues that create inequities and the resulting disparities experienced by marginalized communities.
1) Scientific Research: Develop research-based and practice-based programs and resources that are culturally relevant, innovative, and community-driven to improve health behaviors, health inequities, and health outcomes.
2) Community Engagement: Help organizations, departments, and decision makers develop goals and implement strategies that improve individual, group, and organizational practices to build more trusting relationships as well as meet the health equity needs of the diverse communities they serve.
3) Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity: Host professional development and education workshops that aim to improve knowledge, develop action skills, and strategies to understand and disrupt individual, group, and systemic practices that deepen social disadvantage for specific groups within and outside of the workplace.
4) Grassroots/Community Activism: Teach skills, revitalize motivation, and enhance capacity of community members to coordinate and mobilize community-driven action, as well as learn strategies to navigate common challenges that may happen.
