The National IT Centre was established in 2007 by the Ministry of Telecom and Informatics in order to develop nation-wide projects that aim at enhancing the technological infrastructures and services in Libya. The Centre is currently working on projects such as the National Digital Identity, Postal Addressing, Electronic Commerce, Education and Health.
