When founder Amber Taggard was in graduate school completing her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health, she read the following statistic: The average American wastes 17 minutes a day looking for things they’ve lost or misplaced. Quick math told her that this added up to over 8 hours a month, and nearly a full year over the course of a lifetime. Armed with a talent for organizing, a desire to help others, and an education focused on a non-judgmental approach to individualizing outcomes, she decided to help people reclaim their and time and spaces and become a Professional Organizer.
In 2011 Amber began a small business called The Organizer Chick (singular) and began working to help people gain peace and productivity, and quickly realized that there was more work to be done since she could do alone. Since then, she has slowly assembled an incredible flock of hard-working, intelligent, and compassionate Chicks and the name of the company was pluralized.
Over the years, numerous entities have featured and honored The Organizer Chicks, including Forbes, Today, Smart Women Smart Money Magazine, Good Day NWA, and KATV. Amber has had the opportunity to give a TEDx Talk, to contribute a chapter to “Redesign Your 9 to 5,” to offer many corporate and retreat workshops and keynote addresses, and to host The Organizer Chicks Podcast. The Organizer Chicks have been honored be repeat winners of the Best of Northwest Arkansas since the beginning of their category into the competition, and are also proud Torch Award for Ethics recipients. They were winners of Season 5 of “The Blox,” the world’s largest live-in reality tv show for entrepreneurs. They maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and are fully insured and background checked.
The company is currently primarily focused on serving Washington and Benton counties of Northwest Arkansas, but regularly travels and has their sights set on explanation into other markets in the near future.
