Our mission is simple but very ambitious: To connect emerging science & tech with the wider world. We make cutting-edge science and technology understandable, engaging, and relevant to the audiences that matter the most. This includes include industry leaders and decision-makers, investors, policy makers, educators, journalists, other researchers, strategic decision-makers and even the general public. The Periodic Pulse publishes daily insights on emerging science and technologies which are shaping the future. Our platform exists because there’s a major gap between cutting-edge research and its real-world application. A lot of research remains trapped in academic spheres, disconnected from the people, industries, and decision-makers who could actually use them. We’re solving this research-translation gap by training researchers to communicate their science with clarity, purpose, and strategic direction. Whether that’s informing policy, attracting investment, supporting commercialisation, or simply reaching the public in a meaningful way, we believe research should be made impactful. This platform explores a different topics from flexible electronics and cold spray additive manufacturing, to synthetic biology, quantum materials, or energy storage systems. The different topics are explored by explaining how it works, what problems it solves, where the limitations lie, and most importantly, how this influences the markets, commercial potential, and industry adoption.
