The Perlman Music Program Suncoast cultivates audiences of all ages through classical music performances and educational outreach programs. The primary event is the annual PMP Winter Residency founded by Toby, and world-renowned violinist, Itzhak Perlman. The residency is held on the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee Campus in December-January. Throughout the year, PMP Alumni perform concerts and recitals around Sarasota and Manatee counties and offer outreach programs to local schools and senior facilities. Through its partnership with The Perlman Music Program in NY, PMP Suncoast offers the public the unique opportunity to witness the talent and spirit of extraordinarily gifted and promising young string students and accomplished graduates.
