The Pottery Lot is a community pottery studio, curated gallery, and regional clay supply store located just outside Boone, NC. We provide a welcoming, hands-on space where people of all ages and skill levels can explore the art of clay—whether through classes, workshops, private events, or seasonal camps.
Our curated gallery showcases the work of over 40 local potters, celebrating the rich ceramic talent and heritage of Western North Carolina. We also operate a supply store offering clay, glazes, and tools to support local potters, schools, and regional studios.
Housed in a beautifully restored historic building along Hwy 105, The Pottery Lot is more than just a studio—it’s a place to connect, create, and grow.
