The Priyanka Foundation is a Minnesota-based global nonprofit organized to serve terminally and chronically ill children and families by operating Child Life and Development Programs, in hospitals worldwide.
Our expert child life and development teams work with families to minimize the stress and overcome the fear of a hospital stay, a clinic or emergency room visit, radiology or surgical procedures, through education, emotional coaching, communication and honest self-expression.
The professional staff empowers families to care for their children and teaches them the strategies for parenting in challenging times, ensuring that the child’s identity is not lost in the diagnosis.
This type of programming, common in the United States, is not available to most children around the world. The vision of The Priyanka Foundation is to create awareness, provide education and bring child life and development services to children and families in healthcare systems worldwide.
