The Producers’ Forum is a membership based, sector-led professional organisation providing training, networking, and a cohesive lobbying voice for independent filmmakers in the creative sector.
We understand our industry needs and how to fill gaps in skills training. Since we began in 2006, we have trained over 200 film professionals in areas such as film finance, development, sales, marketing, distribution, tax, pitching and legals. Our speakers’ list boasts some of the industry’s key players.
Born out of a small group of local producers who were keen to develop their skills and progress with their careers, we have grown from a regional organisation to one with a national presence. Based in Birmingham, we are ideally located to welcome members from around the UK. Although we focus on the role Producer, we are keen to engage with all filmmakers and digital content producers and educate in the essential professional industry skills needed to succeed.
