Tout commence en septembre 2018, lorsqu’une quinzaine d’étudiants décide de s’unir au nom d’un but commun : provoquer le débat. C’est ainsi que l’Agora voit le jour, association étudiante cherchant à bâtir un pont culturel entre divers orateurs et public engagé.
Afin d’y arriver, l’Agora organise tous les ans une journée de conférence au cours de laquelle interviennent des étudiants ou des experts venant des quatre coins du monde et, surtout, ayant vécu des expériences singulières. De la politique à l’identité en passant par l’art, les sujets susceptibles d'être exploités sont divers, ce qui permet aux orateurs d’aborder de nombreuses questions d’actualité.
It all started in September 2018 when a few students sat around and bonded over the same goal: to spark the debate. This is how The Student Agora saw the light of day, an association aiming at building cultural bridges between speakers and their audience.
Every year, the Agora team organizes a day of conference during which students and experts from all around the world get the chance to share their unique experiences. From politics to identity without forgetting arts, the themes tackled by speakers are diverse which gives them the opportunity to speak out on many issues the world faces today.
