The TEAM Evaluation Center, Inc., a private not for profit agency, was chartered in 1963 as an initiative from local community leaders, the Medical Society and the Metropolitan Council. Now known as The TEAM Centers, Inc., the organization continues today as a unique multi-specialty healthcare facility that provides lifespan clinical services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. TEAM’s continuum of care gives each individual the hope, support, treatment and assistance needed for the complex conditions of autism, mental retardation, genetic disorders and other developmental disabilities.
