The Ohio Mental Health Center at The Trails is a unique inpatient mental health facility nestled on 27 acres of woodlands in Newark, Ohio – about 40 miles east of Columbus. Previously a residential estate, our facility was retrofitted to offer 18 inpatient beds in a comfortable and luxurious environment.
Designed to offer a higher level of care than outpatient treatment, the residential rehabilitative program at The Trails fosters true healing from chronic mental health conditions such as trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and co-occurring substance use disorder.
Through psychiatry, psychotherapy, holistic therapies, and life skills, we enable our clients to achieve a happy and independent lifestyle.
