The University Star is the independent student media group of Texas State University. We produce news content daily on our website and publish a paper every Tuesday of the spring and fall semesters, as well as the first Tuesday of each summer session. We distribute 3,000 copies to over 52 locations on campus and 22 throughout San Marcos. We also have an email newsletter that goes directly to more than 60,000 subscriber inboxes every Tuesday and Thursday. Follow us on social media.
