The Water Well Project is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes improved health literacy for communities from migrant, refugee and asylum seeker background.
With the support of healthcare professional volunteers, we have delivered over 750 health information sessions on a diverse range of topics including navigating the Australian healthcare system, healthy eating, exercise, diabetes, mental health, contraception and immunisation.
We are very proud recipients of the 2018 Melbourne Award for Contribution to Multiculturalism by a Community Organisation, Victoria Day Organisation of the Year (2019) and finalist for the Australian Migration & Settlement Awards for Settlement Innovation (2019).
