At The Weighted Cape, we believe comfort should be part of every haircut. Our innovative capes are designed to provide a calming, weighted experience that helps reduce anxiety, ease sensory challenges, and create a more inclusive environment for all clients — especially neurodivergent individuals such as those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and anxiety. The idea was born when our founder, Henry, saw the incredible benefits of a weighted blanket and envisioned a new way to bring that same comfort to the salon and barbershop experience. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a mission: to make haircuts less stressful and more supportive for everyone. Today, The Weighted Cape is redefining what it means to care for clients — with compassion, innovation, and a focus on creating spaces where everyone feels safe, understood, and comfortable.
