The WELL Fund Overview

The Woodlands Endowment for Lifelong Learning - also known as the WELL Fund - was established in 2018 by the Muslim community of the Woodlands, Texas. Spearheaded by Dr. Arif Abdullah and Dr. Mirza N. Baig, the initiative specifically focuses on furthering educational activities in higher academia. The WELL Fund has specifically partnered with the religious studies department at the University of Texas - Austin to promote open learning and awareness about Islam and Muslims. The Fund supports UT-Austin's initiatives on religious tolerance and studies about the Islamic faith and history, Muslim cultures, and current affairs. The WELL Fund aims to advocate greater understanding and tolerance about Islam and Muslims in the U.S. through learning and academia.
