The Zoe Project (TZP) offers perinatal support to expectant and new mothers in some of Cape Town's most under-resourced communities. Our network of 70+ trained volunteers provides a range of services: doula support, counselling, antenatal education, breastfeeding aid, and nursery assistance all form part of our campaign to empower South African women.
We operate at a variety of facilities, including Mowbray Maternity Hospital and Pollsmoor Prison. Our sister branch, Zoe Zim, supplies essential nutrition and hygiene packs to vulnerable mothers in Zimbabwe. To date, we have supported more than 1 500 women and children across the Western Cape.
