The Collective Academy is much more than a music school, dance academy or tutoring centre. We are a Not-For-Profit Community-based Academy located in Canberra. We offer a range of different music lessons, dance classes and private tutoring sessions! We work with teachers believe in the importance of holistic wellbeing. Our teachers care about each of their students' education, progress, and value each student as a whole person. Thus, we aim to take an integrated approach to teaching and learning - whether it's in music, dance or various subjects that students would like to receive private tutoring in.
We offer a wide range of classes in the hope that students will develop their skills, confidence, ability to communicate, willingness to take responsibility and thrive as a whole person. Our vision is to partner with local schools and Youth Workers in order to sponsor disadvantaged students across Canberra. Our heart is to give disadvantaged students the the opportunity to meet solid teachers who will value and influence them in wonderful ways, enable to them to find their passions, refine their skills and develop a sense of ownership, resilience and confidence - that they would not be able to receive otherwise.
