CTS is, of, for and by the students of the tourism industry and its allied sectors that endeavors to catalyze the involvement of youth in the service industry, by providing career development opportunities to perceive their personal, professional and academic goals.
We aspire to act as a bridge between the student community and various stakeholders of the tourism industry, by offering career advancement networking possibilities within the tourism industry and its allied sectors.
Our Vision is to continuously strive to be a robust platform in the tourism industry by strengthening the continuous dialogue between the students and stakeholders in order to inspire and implement solutions to attain a sustainable world.
To be precise we have 4 pillars under CTS:
a. Research - To encourage local and international research collaborations and interdisciplinary research exploration through our platform, predominantly involving Scholars, PG, and UG students of various parts to produce hi-impact quality research work.
b. Projects - To formulate, execute, also undertake or collaborate with other organisations (national and international) to implement projects linking SDGs-Tourism by involving the student community.
c. Facilitate opportunities - This segment will be focused on and provides the opportunity to participate and disseminate information on internship, volunteer and job opportunities for the students and its allied members.
d. Industry Interface/Capacity-building activities - To serve as a link between the industry and students by catalysing one's prospects in the desired and aptitude field through workshops, seminars, and training.
