The Edison School is a private co-educational day school focusing on Kindergarten through 12th grade students. In 2012 the school began by focusing on educating students with learning differences. Because we believe the education we provide benefits all students, we do NOT require a diagnosis for a student to enroll. Smaller classes and truly individualized programs for each student allow our students to thrive while reaching for their potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
At The Edison School, our transformation under Dr. Wilson's leadership since 2018 has been profound; we've grown from a K-8 to a K-12 institution, proudly witnessing our first high school graduates in May 2024. The staff fosters an inclusive environment, where students with special needs thrive alongside their peers.
Edison's administration equips educators to embrace and support diverse learning needs, evident in our partnership with local therapeutic programs and dual enrollment initiatives. This commitment to educational excellence and inclusion is the cornerstone of our strategic plan, guiding The Edison School into a future where every student's potential is recognized and nurtured.
We meet our students where they are by providing an intimate and encouraging academic community that honors them as individuals, values each student's diverse learning style, and fosters growth.
