Why The Italian Designer? I'm frequently asked about the spelling of my name. It's a seemingly simple question with a not-so-simple answer. Ever since my relocation to the USA (or my travels around the world for work), I've encountered challenges with people pronouncing my name correctly. Consequently, they often referred to me as "The Italian Designer" because it was a name easier for them to remember. I didn't mind this nickname as it reflected my pride in my Italian heritage and design background. You see, my name is Antonio Larosa, but it's often misspelled as La Rossa, La Rosa, LaRussa, Larusa, Derosa, and several other variations. So, when the time came to choose a name for my blog and website, I pondered over it for a while and ultimately decided on 'The Italian Designer' a name that's not only representative of my heritage but is also easy for people to recall. Also I'm proud to say that my designs grace numerous prestigious locations across the United States, including upscale shopping malls, renowned universities, restaurants, hotels and resorts, iconic stadiums, and various public spaces. Moreover, during his first 15 years in the USA, I dedicated mymself to promoting top Italian brands and other designers, either independently or in collaboration with prestigious government agencies. Furthermore, I contributed significantly to the establishment of several important Italian businesses in the States.
