The Meadows Stables is a family owned and operated business with owners living on the property, set on 60 gorgeous acres of beautiful pasture in Bayles, Victoria, providing friendly agistment for horses in a variety of disciplines.
A quiet and relaxing environment, perfect for young and old, or anyone in between, supported by a network of professionals who add to the experience of being part of The Meadows Family.
We take the upmost care in providing the best service that we possibly can and are willing to make individual arrangements to meet the needs both you and your horse.
A range of paddocks are available including shared ($20pw); semi privates (from $30pw) and privates ($45pw).
Shared paddocks: Shared paddocks are large paddocks between 7-15 acres with about 7 horses in a paddock. $20pw
Semi-privates: Semi-private paddocks are for owners or friends with 2 or more horses in a paddock together. A range of paddock sizes are offered but please contact us to discuss your requirements and availability at the time. From $30pw
Privates: Private paddocks are ¾ of an acre with post and rail fencing and electric offsets. $45pw
As well as this special arrangements can be made for weanlings, founder prone horses, retirees etc.
All paddocks are rotated, harrowed and spelled, so no need to muck out.
Horses are checked daily and owners with over 20years experience living on the property.
Facilities:
The Meadows is a newly opened agistment in late 2011 and facilities will continue to grow over the coming years.

65x45 grass arena with jumps
20m round yard
Wash bay
Day yards
Shared tack room and feed room
Toilet, fridge and microwave
Horse safe dam for swimming
Services:
Feeding and rugging: Feeding and rugging is available twice a day. Once daily feeding is $15pw and twice daily feeding is $25pw. Rugging is $15pw. Horses are expected to be able to be caught easily and stand quietly for rugging and feeding in shared paddocks.
Farrier/Trimmer: We use Sarah from Iskander Run Barefoot Performance horses. She does a great job not only with her trimming but also her horse handling. She attends The Meadows every 6 weeks and charges $40 for a trim.

Dentist: We have equine dentist Bruce Wraight at The Meadows every 6 months, in January and July each year. He has proven to be very gentle and works well with all of the horses here.
Worming: Worming is coordinated and horses are wormed every 12 weeks on the first weekend of each season.
All horses coming onto the property need to be wormed on arrival and proof of vaccinations provided.
Horses collected and returned for vet/farrier/dentist etc
Hay for Sale: Good quality, shed stored, grass round Bales $40
Float for Hire: Standard double float for hire. $50 per day including insurance plus $100 deposit.
The Meadows Stables is just 8 minutes off the Princes Freeway (M1) and 5 minutes from Koo Wee Rup Riders Club. We are in the middle of a very horsey area with riding straight out the front gate.
