TheNetwork For Consumer Protection in Pakistan is a policy advocacy organization that has created it's niche amongst law makers, policy makers, media and consumers. It was incorporated in 1992 in Pakistan. Throughout its catalytic and facilitative role, TheNetwork is working on consumer protection to promote awareness and enhance the livelihoods for consumers in Pakistan.
The proposed project is aimed at the advocacy with the parliamentarians in collaboration with National Fortification Alliance (NFA) and other relevant government entities to sensitize them to create Enabling Environment for Nutritious and Safe Food in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) & National level Food Fortification Legislation; and complimenting the legislation efforts by National Fortification Alliance (MINISTRY OF NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICES REGULATIONS AND COORDINATION) and other stakeholders. The project is proposed to be implemented in Islamabad Capital Territory.
