The Drug Development in Brazil (DDiB) is a global network of pharmaceutical professionals interested in applying the latest, cutting-edge strategies and technologies for research and drug development in Brazil.
The objective of DDiB's intensive week-long course, titled 'Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Pharmacokinetic-Pharmacodynamic Modeling' is to introduce drug development, clinical pharmacology, and quantitative PK/PD concepts to graduate students and pharmaceutical professionals affiliated with universities across Brazil. This course is taught by a diverse, collaborative group of academic and industry professionals from the United States and Brazil in the fall of each year. Host universities have included the Universidade Federal da Bahia (Salvador) and the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (Natal).
