The Shame Training Company was formed in 2022 by Lisa and Rob Etherson as a result of their professional and personal experience, spanning over twenty years, within the world of therapy and therapeutic interventions.
As a trained psychosexual therapist, PhD researcher studying shame and relational trauma, and through shared experiences alongside her husband Rob, Lisa has developed, Shame Containment Theory as a new and innovative approach to understanding and working with shame.
