The WIT Network

The WIT Network is a community of professionals across the world that believe in making it easier for women to imagine, begin and develop a career in IT. We have grown from just 3 to 80 Communities in less than 4 years, and are supported by Microsoft in over 45 countries. As a non-profit organization, our mission and mandate: o Attract, retain and encourage girls and women to embrace STEM/STEAM education and careers o Encourage and inspire women to advance into leadership positions in and/or to start their own businesses o Provide mentorship opportunities that span the entire career of every woman o Continue our philanthropic efforts that make STEM/STEAM education available to all women o Help other organizations define and implement effective diversity and inclusion strategies And that's not all! We plan to: o Start a WIT Chapter in every country in the world! o Provide pre-packaged programs &resources to ensure consistency and make it easy for each chapter to operate o Solicit regular feedback from our members to ensure we are meeting the needs of our communities o Embrace collaboration opportunities with other WIT groups to extend our impact o Become a leader in providing WIT Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) packaged solutions to IT organizations globally o Maximize funding available to drive value for BOTH our members and sponsors Everyone is welcome to be part of The WIT Network!
