About me 🌼🐝
Hi I'm Megan, aka the Yorkshire Zoologist! I'm a Master's graduate in Conservation Biology from the Calder Valley with a passion for photography. I started my venture as a freelance photographer in 2021 after getting back into photography during lockdown to share the spring wildlife and beautiful landscapes of my local area. I work in conservation in public engagement and awareness but previously worked as an ecologist. I'm now taking on this new venture I hope you will join me on!

My page is about connecting people with nature and wildlife through my photography and educational posts. Whether you're an expert in the field, a beginner birder, or simply care about our natural world, I aim to connect my audience through opening up interesting topics of conversation and bringing some #naturepositivity to your home feed.
Posts will largely focus on UK wildlife whilst occasionally looking into zoo conservation. Sharing educational facts with my photography, topics include wildlife conservation, animal behaviour, sustainability and connection to nature.
