Third Rock Thriving offers a new perspective to what it means to truly thrive in life as a unique human being whilst at the same time nourishing planet earth to thrive also. Third Rock Thriving draws on the wisdom and teachings of psychosynthesis, integral theory, Mondo zen, permaculture, deep ecology and cutting edge change management and facilitation to create a new way of defining what it means for us as human beings to deeply thrive in life whilst also nourishing the intricate web of life on our planet to thrive also. Implicit in this is the acceptance that all life on this 'third rock from the sun' has just as much right to thrive in its fullness as we do and in fact it is the only thing that will enable us as human beings to continue to evolve in our potential. In the face of the myriad problems that we as human beings face and the impact of our actions on the rest of life on earth, we suggest that this new perspective will allow us to explore our deep well being within a context of also nourishing the deep wellbeing of our planet.
We have created the Thriving Life Design™ process which is a step by step journey into what it means to be truly human, not just from the perspective of our individual identity, our personal conditioning and patterns, which we call the Person Aspect, but also as part of the wider web of life that sustains everything we desire, need and want. This is the Planet Aspect. The third aspect is the Presence Aspect which explores the ultimate truth that we only have THIS moment, the past has already gone and the future hasn't happened yet. The Presence Aspect allows us to develop a different perspective which is above, and beyond our understanding of our sense of self at the Person and Planet Aspects. It is from this place that we can truly direct our life's passions and purpose our understanding of Passion, Purpose and Participation, quite literally defining how we show up in life.
