Tourism and Hospitality Management is an international, multidisciplinary, open access journal, aiming to promote and enhance research in all fields of the tourism and hospitality industry. It publishes double-blind reviewed papers and encourages an interchange between tourism and hospitality researchers, educators and managers.
Editors of Tourism and Hospitality Management strongly promote research integrity and aim to prevent any type of scientific misconduct, such as: fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, redundant publication and authorship problems. All submitted manuscripts are checked using Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate).
It is an open access journal, available through the Hrčak platform for Croatian open access journals (http://hrcak.srce.hr/thm) and the journal web site (thm.fthm.hr).
Today, it is one of the leading scientific journals in the field of tourism and hospitality management in South-eastern Europe and takes a prominent role in providing an information basis for the improvement of tourism and hospitality theory and practice.
Tourism and Hospitality Management is primarily aimed at publishing original research papers as well as reviews. eaching and learning case studies and books reviews will also be published. However, professional and technical papers will not be published. The editors reserve the right to return improperly formatted manuscripts to the authors, without peer review. Accepted manuscripts are subject to strict blind peer review by its editorial board or by other anonymous international reviewers.
The journal has been published regularly since 1995, twice a year (in June and December) until 2020, 3 times in 2021 and 2022.
Since 2023 the journal has been published 4 times a year, in English language.
It is published by the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Opatija, supported by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia.
