Thomas Kneale and Co Ltd was established in 1947 and has been supplying high quality performance bed and bath linens to the public sector compliant to British and European Standards to the Police, the Ambulance Service, Fire and Rescue, Local and National Government, Schools, Colleges and Universities, Hospitals, Prisons, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Coastguard and Airport Authorities.
All our products comply with British and or European Standards as well as public sector specification. They are high performance ‘household’ textiles created to withstand commercial use in a contract, non-domestic environment. They are engineered to withstand repeated commercial laundering and high temperatures for thermal disinfection. Fire retardancy products are a high priority in our range. We do not supply the retail sector or individual customers, only institutional customers.
Quality Assurances is proven by our BS EN ISO 9001: 2015 accreditation and our commitment to staff guaranteed by our ‘Investors in People’ recently awarded with a commendation. We also have a rigorous Corporate Social and Ethical policy throughout our supply chain with strict protocols at point of manufacture. We import in considerable quantities and hold significant stock in over 100,000 sq feet of warehousing.
