Tipping Point Resources Group, LLC was formed to assist clients in need of dredged material and contaminated sediment placement alternatives at critical junctures, or tipping points; moments that all too often result in paralysis or missed opportunities.
We are offering innovative, implementable and cost effective dredged material processing equipment and solutions to Owners, Responsible Parties and Contractors for the sustainable management of sediments and soils with beneficial use as a driver. Our strategy blends life-cycle sediment treatment with upland dredged material placement for beneficial use brownfield remediation and restoration. This positions our partners to catalyze economic development and urban revitalization; moving beyond the tipping point to balance current challenges and leverages future opportunities and growth.
One of the processes that Tipping Point works with is the application of Pneumatic Flow Tube Mixing (PFTM) for the stabilization of soft sediments that allows flexibility in challenged and difficult physical environments. PFTM operates on a small footprint, has no water and air discharges (no physical dewatering needed with water treatment) and can be flexible for use both on land and on a barge mounted system such as our MObile Sediment Engineering System (MOSES).
Tipping Point was founded by engineering, scientific and regulatory practitioners from government, industry, consulting, and academia who are supported by significant construction and maritime constructors and operators. This group of specialists came together to work with the Port-commerce community that includes, marinas, industrial /commercial and a municipal client base that want and need to moves beyond analysis that leads to inaction with no viable outcomes. With an understanding of economic and community awareness in driving environmental programs forward, Tipping Point is forging a new beginning with a full range of motion – no paralysis.
