TMA Long Island is proudly one of the 56 chapters worldwide of The Turnaround Management Association (TMA), a global non-profit organization comprised of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals. We serve as a forum for corporate renewal professionals from all disciplines to promote high standards of practice, foster professional development, and enhance the image of TMA members.
The TMA Long Island Chapter was formed in 1998 to carry out TMA's mission on Long Island. The TMA Long Island Chapter's territory spans the counties of Nassau and Suffolk in New York State. TMA Long Island has an active, growing and diverse membership comprised of turnaround practitioners, including interim company officers, financial advisers and accountants, attorneys, lenders, bank workout officers and investors.
The Long Island Chapter hosts networking events and educational meetings tailored to meet our growing membership's needs and is focused on topics related to the turnaround management profession and current trends affecting companies experiencing financial or operational challenges.
Included among our events is an annual roundtable discussion with judges from the Southern and Eastern district bankruptcy courts that contains an active question and answer session relating to current trends and topics in the courtroom.
Our events provide TMA Long Island members and attendees with an opportunity to share their knowledge with other experienced professionals, establish and build relationships and create business opportunities.
