Mandate of TNWWHCL
The mandate of the Corporation is to develop new, and upgrade existing working women hostels for women from all sections of society and operate them in a professional manner. Other infrastructure projects like senior living, childcare centres, etc can be implemented through TNWWHCL.
Objectives of TNWWHCL
To promote integrated complexes for all categories of working women with hostel facilities.
To develop, redevelop, design, construct, renovate, refurbish hostel buildings, expansion of existing hostel buildings and / or operate and maintain hostel buildings under the Social Welfare Department including working women hostels.
To provide hostel facilities enabling secure and pleasant accommodation at affordable prices to high income categories without compromising the requirements of the low-income categories thus striving to strike a balance between the two groups.
To facilitate operation and maintenance of hostel infrastructure by providing value added facilities in connection with the object of providing safe, secure, and convenient affordable accommodation facilities.
