Tolpoort Vegetables, founded in 2021, focuses on the sale of cauliflower, broccoli and chicory. The affiliated growers, with production locations in the Netherlands and Spain, own the organization and ensure that the high-quality open field vegetables are available all year round. We are the market leader in the Netherlands with all three products. Core values are efficiency and transparency. Our products are part of a valuable but vulnerable chain. That is why we maintain strict requirements for food safety, the environment and behaviour. We meet the strictest hygiene requirements, including GLOBALG.A.P. and BRC. Due to the short chain, we ensure that we are close to the customer, so that they can have fresh, safe and healthy products at their disposal every day. For distribution and packaging activities, there is a close collaboration with Tolpoort BV.
Tolpoort BV is an innovative and modern distribution and packaging center for agricultural products, founded by Quality Growers Holland BV and Westfresh, two growers' associations from the region West-Friesland. The aim is to add value to the freshly harvested products of the affiliated growers, by working together smartly. The scale ensures that we can optimally serve every type of customer. Within Tolpoort, in a space of 9,400 m2 with 10 docks, 20 cold stores and a roof with 2,000 solar panels, we take care of the inbound, storage and outbound of products in a fully conditioned environment. The logistics process is fully automated by means of a warehouse management system, s.a. to guarantee traceability. Various products are sorted and packed within Tolpoort.
