The evolution of Tonyoga started in the late 70's with a four year training under the supervision and guidance of Bikram the creator of "Bikram Yoga". After my departure in the mid 90s, I created the "Yoga Challenge I, II, III & IV systems which were featured at the SF yoga studio for 20+ years. In 2012 the YCH systems evolved into "Tony Sanchez Yoga" which lead to the creation of Tonyoga" which is based on three different yoga systems: Core26+ beginners, Core40 Intermediate and Core 84 Advanced. To make the practice of these systems safe and therapeutic I have incorporated the Anatomical planes and scientific exercise principles to their practice. It has been proven by all of my students that this approach to the practice yoga works by their long and sustainable practice and for the most part free of injuries. And personally, my practice of 45+ years has kept me free of injuries and in great shape for all this time. You too can improve your yoga with the Tonyoga scientific approach.
