Toshiba Memory Europe GmbH (TME) was the European business of the Toshiba Memory Corporation (TMC). The company offered a broad product line of high-end Flash memory products, including SD Cards, USB sticks, Micro SD's and embedded memory components, in addition to solid state drives (SSD). TME maintained Offices in Germany, France, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. By 2019/10/01 Toshiba Memory was taken over by the American Bain Group and ceased operations in many locations. A new company with the name Kioxia was created which can be translated to value memory.
Toshiba Memory used to be the second largest NAND Flash manufacturer in 2019.
