The Trauma Recovery Institute (TRI) was founded and is operated by Colin A. Ross, M.D.
This PHP, Partial Hospital/IOP, Intensive Outpatient Program provides
services for survivors of psychological trauma including those with DID
(Dissociative Identity Disorder) Monday thru Friday.
TRI offers a research-based Trauma Model Therapy approach
in a partial hospitalization & intensive outpatient setting.
Features of the Program:
• weekly cognitive therapy sessions with Dr. Ross
• individual psychotherapy each week
• groups 5 days a week
• small group sizes - no larger than 8
• COVID-compliant per CDC guidelines
• Insurances accepted: BCBC, Medicare, Tricare, Aetna
and Cigna
• To be licensed by the State of Texas and accredited by
The Joint Commission

• PTSD - Complex PTSD
• Dissociative Disorders
• OCD
• Borderline Personality Disorder
• Chronic drug relapse/self-harm
• Eating Disorders
• Anxiety and Depression (even COVID-related)
Our treatment goals are to help our clients improve their adult
functioning, achieve stabilization and learn new recovery tools.
Trauma Model Therapy includes cognitive-behavioral, systems,
experiential and didactic therapies.
