Treasure Valley Lab has been a joint venture between Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and Pathology Associates Medical Laboratories (PAML) since 1999. On May 4, 2017 LabCorp completed its acquisition of PAML and Saint Alphonsus will be completing its acquisition of PAML's interest in TVL no later than November 4, 2017. At that time TVL will be wholly owned by Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
SARMC, based in Boise, Idaho, is part of the Saint Alphonsus Health System, a four-hospital, 714-bed integrated healthcare system serving southwestern Idaho, eastern Oregon and northern Nevada.
TVL, also known as Southern Idaho Regional Laboratory because of its previous owners, performs an extensive array of diagnostic laboratory tests for healthcare providers in their region.
