Bangladesh Bank has conducted numerous industry associations, and financier consultations over the last two years to explore ways to ease access to finance for MSME suppliers. Based on those consultations and internal deliberations, Bangladesh Bank has approved guidelines for setting up and operating a digital platform for facilitating the financing of trade receivables of MSMEs from corporate and other buyers, including Government Departments and the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), through multiple financiers.
