The revolutionary and economical M5414-R3 attaches to virtually any 3-Axis CNC Milling Center to provide true simultaneous 5-Axis milling, grinding and drilling capability. The industry applications required by mold, aerospace, specialty automotive, energy and instrument manufacturers to perform 5-axis simultaneous and positioning moves such as drilling and slotting can be achieved with this powerful, economical 5-axis solution from Tri-Tech.
Designed to handle the most complex machining including full 5-axis profiling, contouring, slots and holes, the M5414’s sturdy holding fixture enables a quick installation time of less than thirty minutes. The new M5414-R3’s all steel construction utilizes hardened and ground A2 tool steel in the drive block and main bevel gears, 17-4 stainless steel in the spindle and gear housing. High speed options are achieved through either a mechanical speeder, or an innovative pneumatic spindle that does not lose torque or RPM under load. High speed spindle options offer 20,000-50,000 RPM capabilities.
The M5414 provides access to all points within the hemisphere of the host machine’s work envelope and is available with a powerful post-processor that is designed to work with nearly all 5-axis capable CAM software products and 5-axis capable CNC controls.
