The service seeks to establish and support individualsā active inclusion within employment environments and in so doing promote their equal opportunities and through active participation improve their employability. Ensuring diversity within the workforce is an issue that our Supported Employment Service can assist employers with. There is a strong business case for employing people with disabilities and other disadvantages that employers are becoming increasingly aware of.
The service uses the Supported Employment model as the main approach to achieve paid outcomes and is delivered under the PROSPER consort in partnership with Stepping-stones, Compass Advocacy Network, Access Employment & Learning & The Appleby Trust. The service operates In the following council areas:

Mid Ulster
Antrim & Newtownabbey
North Down & Ards
Armagh , Banbridge & Craigavon
Castlereagh & Lisburn
Part of the service involves enterprise activities ā āAlternative Anglesā, with facilities in Antrim, Ballycastle, Ballymena, Coleraine, Magherafelt and Newtownabbey.
Alternative Angles is an Enterprise provision that provides support to people with learning disabilities to experience and develop new skills and build confidence in order for them to enhance their individual employment opportunities and thereby fulfil their potential.
