For brewmaster Sean Larkin, Revival Brewing Company is a renewal of his passion for unique and innovative beers, cultivated over a decade and a half of creating signature brews for the preeminent breweries in Rhode Island. Though he'd been thinking about striking out on his own for a few years, it was an introduction to Owen Johnson, an avid home brewer, from a mutual friend in early 2010 that really set in motion what would become Revival. Over that first January breakfast meeting, the two discovered how closely their ambitions and passions aligned. Revival Brewing Company was incorporated later that year and Owen and Sean brought designer Jeff Grantz on board as a co-founder to lead the creative development of the Revival brand. Our first beer, a Double Black IPA, was released on November 17, 2011. Revival is committed to creating wonderful, distinctive beers that appeal to everyone, from beer aficionados to those just beginning to experience the world of craft brews, and serving our local community is central to how we operate. We partner with local businesses to develop distinct local flavors -- like our White Electric Coffee Stout -- and we brew all of our beer at Brutopia in Cranston, RI or Cottrell Brewing Company in Pawcatuck, CT. High quality, innovative beers, born in New England and brewed with passion. That's Revival.
