pinpoint is a well-funded corporate start-up launched by Trinity Mirror Group's New Businesses team in 2014. The pinpoint team are on a mission to make local advertising smarter by unlocking the potential of location-based, mobile targeting for their clients, large or small. The pinpoint platform allows advertisers to target its fully opted-in app audience (1.3m+) with location-based, mobile messages served via native brand notifications. The pinpoint network delivers access to Trinity Mirror’s ‘Modal Britain’ audience (the middle 50% of UK) on mobile, but the power of pinpoint's targeting is in the use of location and behaviour as a rich signal for interests and disposition.

In total the group comprises five national titles and over a hundred regional news brands including the Manchester Evening News and the Liverpool Echo. In terms of digital reach our combined audience exceeded 108 million monthly users in July (source: ABCe).
