Agri SMEs contribute greatly to the SDGs and particularly to SDG 2 and 8. In support, we at Truvalu Kenya, believe that building an inclusive and sustainable ecosystem for finance and investment for early-stage agri SMEs is critical for the realization of the 2030 agenda.
We help entrepreneurs of agri SMEs to scale up their businesses through co-entrepreneurship which consists of Capital, Business Development Support, Strategic Coaching, Access to Networks and Markets and Access to Knowledge and Technology.
Truvalu Kenya is a subsidiary of the Netherlands based investment company Truvalu B.V. which invests equity and convertible debt in early-stage SMEs with ticket sizes between € 100,000 and € 500,000. We act as the Investment Manager to Truvalu’s equity and debt investments done from the Netherlands.
We aim to grow and expand our portfolio of early-stage agri SMEs for social impact and economic return.
