The MiFID II reforms are having a material impact on the business models of sell-side research firms and the resulting dislocation has prompted many analysts to consider their future careers.
TS Lombard Research Partners is seeking to expand the range of sectors that we already cover and we are therefore looking for additional analysts to join our independent research platform, which enables them to build their business through a partnership with a long established and globally respected research brand.
We would like to hear from top-rated analysts with a good following and who are interested in going independent or looking for a regulated platform with strong global distribution. The ideal candidates will:
• Have considerable experience in their chosen sector or country – ideally having been through at least one business cycle
• Be highly-skilled in essential analyst activities, including financial modelling, writing and marketing
• Have a strong franchise with the buy-side investment community
• Be independent in thought and outlook
• Be entrepreneurial and self-starting, and have a willingness to engage with the media.
TS Lombard offers
• A global sales team of 16 professionals, with offices in London, New York and Hong Kong
• We are able to distribute regulated research globally (authorized by the FCA in London); and have a licence application pending in Hong Kong
• Compliance, invoicing and finance functions
• Flexibility as to where the analyst lives and works
• The ability to share information and debate with other analysts across the TS Lombard group.
